Cypress Camping Resort on the Intracoastal Waterway in Myrtle Beach, SC has been conceived and designed by the parents of a child who has been denied access to some of the fun of the campground experience. As a result, Cypress Camping Resort will provide the best opportunity available to campers of all capabilities, including ADA equipped cabin, bunk house, bathhouses, as lodging opportunities. In addition, for wheelchair bound campers, Cypress Camping Resort wishes to provide wheel chair access to all buildings, meeting places, game room, retail store, Laundromat and to our activities such as our pool, playground, and boat dock.

Special Accommodations

Kenneth and Laura Hucks are the parents of three children. One of their children, Jenna has Cerebral Palsy.  When Jenna was in her pre-teen and teen years, her special needs were often not considered when a youth group or her public school class planned an activity,  or went on an over-night trip. Many times her Mother had to take her and arrange their own accommodations to enable Jenna to go and participate in the activity with the other children. As many of you know, these same restrictions follow Jenna as she has become an adult. We do not want any child or grown adult to be left behind.
